Have you ever wanted to be Robin Hood, shooting at Prince John's troops? Maybe you wish you were one of the English bowmen that cut down the French at Agincourt. Perhaps you fancy yourself a modern day William Tell, shooting apples from the heads of children. From beginners to seasoned archers, we welcome you to come shoot targets and combatants with us!
The Kingdom of Umbria holds regular archery tournaments in historic style. While wooden bows are encouraged, modern bows are allowed. No compound bows, and no sights or counterbalances. Only wooden shafted arrows are allowed in our archery tournaments.
Archery is also integrated into some combat scenarios using fiberglass safety shafts with specially constructed padded tips and bows with limited power.
