AZ. When the heat of summer is upon us, the time for Court shall be 9:00
AM. When the cooler temperatures return, Court begins at 10:00 AM.

Medieval Mayhem Renaissance Faire
Attenzione Popolazione,
Medieval Mayhem Renn Fair is fast approaching (Fri, July 8th-Sun, July 10th
in Pinetop/Lakeside, AZ) with on-site camping or hotel down the road! And
as most are aware, I'll be running a PRIZE Tourney called the Royal Rumble.
This tourney is to fit the theme of the Fair, and so, will be an all in the
pit, 10 lives per combatant,last man standing tourney. Prizes are being
contributed by vendors from the Fair, such as Howard Noble, Scotty Armory,
and Turtle Moccasins.
The Royal Rumble will take place over the length of Sat with Shinai in the
morning, Steel around lunch, and rapier in the afternoon. On that note, this
is a Prize Tourney and since the purpose is the best showing on the field
for the public entertainment of the Fair-goers, the Shinai list will be opened
to *ALL* combatants, not simply Sargaents. This means that this tourney WILL
NOT be points bearing (other than the usual demo point for the Fair) but
it should prove fun for all.
Lastly, I have been asked to write up a short presentation/ceremony for pomp
and circumstance before each list occurs. This will be fun and will allow
the Herald to announce each combatant and 4 of their personal titles before/as
they enter the arena.
****That being said, I need a head count of those planning to attend and
for combatants, please email me privately with your tent size if you'll be
camping on site, which days you're planning on attending (all or 1-2) as
well as 4 Personal titles that you would like announced to the populace "for
show". These titles can be Adria earned or self proclaimed for fun but please
insure that these titles are appropriate for the general public, including
children. I need to get a gate list the autocrats as soon as possible of
all Adrian participants for the Fair... Grazie e Ciao!
